You are probably wondering what is this FIFA PLAYGROUND thingy….well wonder no more:

FIFA PLAYGROUND is an EA Sports FIFA Football game community where players can congregate and play FIFA online using the Direct IP protocol.

How many times have you wanted to play FIFA online with a human adversary but couldn’t find one? How many times were you limited to playing FIFA with the computer Game AI? Want to experience more? Then you have come to the right place!

I want to host a game:

  1. Register to this website.
  2. Visit your profile control panel and verify that the correct IP address has been registered(help:ip address).
  3. Optional: You could update your profile account details, select a default type of EA FIFA game or upload an avatar in the profile control panel.
  4. Open your EA FIFA Game and host a game(help:host game).
  5. Go back to the main page and click on the Host Game button on the right hand panel.
  6. Confirm that the selected default EA FIFA Game matches the one you launched(if not select the correct one from the drop down menu) and click on the Ready button.
  7. A red check icon(√) should appear indicating that the game has been started but no other player has joined.
  8. Wait for the check icon(√)to turn green indicating that someone selected your game and is about to join.
  9. Switch back to your game and enjoy the match!

I want to join to a game:

  1. Register to this website.
  2. Optional: Visit the profile control panel and update your profile to match your location, name, default type of EA FIFA game or upload an avatar in the profile control panel.
  3. Go to the main page and click on the Find Game button to display a list of already hosted games. If the list is empty you can host a game by following the steps from “I want to host a game” above.
  4. Choose a game you desire from the list by clicking it’s name, confirm that the type of EA FIFA game hosted matches your version of the game and then click on Join.
  5. Copy the IP address on a piece of paper or just keep it in mind.
  6. Open your EA FIFA Game and join the game(help: join game) using Direct Play and the IP address from the above step. Enjoy the match!
